Financial Intern at CALCULATOR CONSULTING AGENCY (Up to 1 year of experience) Work Format: On-site Work Schedule: 6/1, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Address: Tashkent, Yunusabad, Kozitarnov St. 50 Description Calculator is a consulting company headquartered in Tashkent. We provide accounting, tax, financial, audit, and legal services to clients in Central Asia, CIS, and the Baltic states. Our international division operates through Equm Global, focusing on financial modeling, IFRS reporting transformation, financial planning and analysis (FP&A) outsourcing, and venture capital investment consulting. As an intern, you will work on real client projects, not academic case studies, under the guidance of an experienced financial analyst. Responsibilities: ■ Categorizing client bank statements and transactions, preparing source data ■ Assisting the analyst in building cash flow statements ■ Collecting, verifying, and updating data for financial models ■ Performing reconciliations for P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements ■ Participating in the preparation of management reports, dashboards, and presentations ■ Preparing materials for client meetings and documenting meeting outcomes ■ Formatting report files according to company standards (Excel, Word, PDF) Requirements: ■ Student or recent graduate in "Finance," "Accounting," or "Economics" ■ Basic knowledge of accounting and financial reporting: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow ■ Proficient in Microsoft Excel: XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, data cleaning ■ Willingness to learn and grow professionally, initiative ■ Fluent in Uzbek and Russian; Upper-intermediate English (international clients) ■ Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, experience working with large datasets ■ Responsible attitude towards client data confidentiality Your Benefits: ■ Work on real client projects – not academic case studies ■ Mentorship from an experienced financial analyst and regular feedback ■ Practical skills in IFRS transformation, financial modeling, and Virtual CFO services ■ Experience working with international clients (Baltics, CIS, Central Asia) ■ Offer of permanent employment upon successful completion of the internship Required Skills: Plan/actual variance analysis Financial modeling Advanced Excel skills Accounting Source document processing ■ Knowledge of IFRS / NAS; preparation for ACCA or CFA Level 1 ■ Experience with 1C, Power BI, SQL, or Python ■ Experience with reporting in UZS and USD ■ Portfolio of financial modeling or dashboard creation
