Financial Manager in a Dynamic Pizza Chain (1-3 years of experience) Salary: 15,000,000 - 25,000,000 UZS Employment Type: Full-time Work Format: On-site Schedule: 5/2, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Address: 33 Tarakkiyot St., Tashkent Description We are a dynamically developing QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) chain. Amidst active business scaling, we are looking for a strong Financial Manager to become a reliable business partner for management and operational departments. The main task of the Financial Manager is not just to maintain records or prepare reports, but to provide the business with timely, accurate, and detailed analytics to control process efficiency, manage costs, and increase the profitability of the chain. Role Mission To provide the company with a high-quality financial infrastructure at the operational level: to ensure data accuracy and transparency, effective control of cash flows and expenses (Food Cost, Labor Cost, OPEX), as well as prompt support to managers in managing restaurant economics.

Responsibilities

• Main Areas of Responsibility
• Financial Business Support:
• Participation in preparing calculations for new projects, openings, and investment initiatives;
• Financial assessment and regular monitoring of the effectiveness of individual restaurants in the chain;
• Preparation of calculations for various business development scenarios.
• Management Accounting:
• Maintenance and updating of elements of a modern management accounting system (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, Unit Economics, EBITDA, Contribution Margin, ROI, ROMI);
• Formation of detailed financial analytics for each restaurant and for the divisions as a whole;
• Responsibility for the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of regular reporting.
• Budgeting and Financial Planning:
• Participation in organizing the full budgeting cycle (collection and consolidation of the annual budget, quarterly and monthly planning);
• Maintaining forecasts and rolling forecasts;
• Conducting plan-vs-actual analysis, identifying deviations, and preparing comments on them.
• Business Profitability Control:
• Regular monitoring and analysis of key QSR metrics: net profit, EBITDA, gross profit, Food Cost, Labor Cost, OPEX;
• Analysis of restaurant performance and profitability of directions;
• Preparation of proposals for cost optimization and margin improvement.
• Financial Analytics:
• Translating figures into understandable operational conclusions for management;
• Analysis of the reasons for profit changes by facility, the impact of marketing campaigns on sales and average check, cost structure, and procurement efficiency.
• Process Automation and Optimization:
• Improving reporting collection and processing processes, minimizing manual labor;
• Reducing calculation errors;
• Developing data visualization tools (BI dashboards) in collaboration with analysts.
• Data Quality Control and Treasury:
• Control of primary data correctness, timeliness of reports from the field, and correctness of expense allocation;
• Participation in cash management: maintaining a payment calendar, tracking cash flow, controlling liquidity, and preventing cash gaps.
• Interaction with Related Departments:
• Close work with accounting (correctness of expense allocation in management accounting, month-end closing, data reconciliation, synchronization of accounting);
• Interaction with the operations department, marketing, procurement, logistics, and restaurant managers.

Requirements

• Candidate Requirements
• Experience: 2-3 years as a Financial Manager, Financial Analyst (experience in retail, food service / QSR / HoReCa will be a significant advantage).
• Education: Higher education in Economics / Finance / Mathematics.
• Professional Knowledge: Corporate finance, financial analysis, budgeting, management accounting, basics of accounting and taxation.
• Technical Skills (Hard Skills):
• 1C 8.3 (Accounting, ERP, UPP);
• Excel at Advanced level (complex formulas, pivot tables, modeling);
• Google Sheets;
• Skills in building dashboards and working with BI systems.
• Personal and Business Qualities:
• High level of responsibility for the accuracy of figures and results;
• System thinking and strong analytical skills;
• Attention to detail while understanding the overall business picture;
• Ability to argue and defend one's position and explain financial indicators in simple terms;
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with a high pace of change.
